Uses:
This compound is used as an antiinfective agent, as an antiamoebic agent and as an intravaginal trichomonacide. It is used to impregnate cotton bandages for antibacterial purposes. It is used in animals as an intestinal antiinfective agent. May cause brown discoloration of the nails and erythema multiforme like eruptions. UCU
